The area is currently zoned as office/research. The dream is to change the zoning to CD4W (the zoning the strip currently abuts) and develop housing under “character-based zoning” and bequeath the City with a 25′ strip along the water to serve as a greenway connecting the West End to downtown, including water access for kayaks, etc.
SUSTAINABLE SEACOAST: Kate and Keith are in the process of developing Sustainable Seacoast to eliminate single-use plastic containers from the Seacoast Region. Their goal is to work with restaurant owners to create change one business at a time and attempt to develop critical mass for the project. Steps to change include; compostable containers, straw-on-demand, paper to-go bags in an attempt to eliminate plastics in any way they can.
ROCKET FUEL ONLY WEBA DISCOUNT: Rocket Fuel Screenprinting is offering a 10% discount to all West End Business owners. Just mention WEBA when you reach out.
