Islington Street Update – Construction is nearing Winter shutdown, scheduled for December 1st. Islington Street will be a full-time, two-way road until construction resumes again in April. Ryan mentioned that they’re targeting to have the binder pavement down this year, from Jewell Court to about Aldridge. Tomorrow they’re box cutting the road from Plaza 800 to Aldridge Road and should be ready to start paving in the next two weeks. At this point, work is dependent on the weather. They will be back in December to provide a final update before the end of the year.
