Islington Corridor Improvement Project: Water shutdowns and replacement with temporary water line are in progress. The one-way detour commenced Monday.
Year One of this two-year project is section currently underway from Bartlett Street to Spinney Road. The budget for Phase II (Bartlett Street to Dover Street) has yet to be submitted or approved.

WESTIVAL: Deidre Rasmussen (welcome back Deidre!!), Erin Hayes of Ricci Lumber, Todd Hudson of Red Post Realty & Dan Umbro of Fishnet Media are taking the reins on Westival 2019 to be held on Saturday, September 14th. The family events will take place from 11:00am-3:00pm and the block party/beer tent event from 3pm-7pm with live music. Westival will be seeking sponsors & participants and, most of all, VOLUNTEERS!!

WEST END PARKING: Dan Umbro of Fishnet Media spoke to the Pilot Parking Program that gained some initial traction among some West End residents, but ultimately failed to get the required number of signature for the petition. While there is some support for a pilot parking program, it’s been suggested that an alternate solution may better suit the needs of most.
